eekoloks® Haircare Australia was founded by Ana Saad, a dedicated mother of three energetic boys and a successful entrepreneur with a background in marketing and business development. Inspired by her two sons, Jayden and Joshua, who at the ages of 7 and 4 were huge fans of Elvis and his famous bouffant, they eagerly wanted to style their hair just like the music legend using their dad’s hair products—not the best fit for little ones.
Like any caring parent, Ana was deeply concerned about the safety and quality of the products used on her children. From their earliest days, she was in search of brands that not only were trustworthy and free from harmful or toxic ingredients but also resonated with her values of sustainability and ethical manufacturing. Ana aimed for eco-friendly products that featured natural ingredients, were produced ethically, and were Australian-made. She wanted products that were safe and effective, yet simple enough to promote independence in her boys as they learned self-care routines, fostering confidence and security in a manner that also honoured environmental responsibilities.
Ana, with the help of Jayden and Joshua, embarked on a search for a natural hair care range designed specifically for kids. Unfortunately, they found only a limited selection of such products available in the market. Motivated by this gap, they together established eekoloks® Haircare Australia.
When COVID-19 confined everyone indoors, Ana and her boys viewed this as an ideal opportunity to have fun and focus on creating a natural hair styling range for kids, bringing their innovative ideas to life. Jayden spearheaded the brand’s engagement by actively directing the social media reels, while Joshua stepped up as the face of eekoloks® and took on the role of brand ambassador. Both Jayden and Joshua are thoroughly involved in every aspect of product development and e-commerce logistics, playing pivotal roles in shaping the brand and its offerings from the ground up.
After collaborating closely with a cosmetic chemist and dedicating over four years to research and development, eekoloks® joyously launched their online store. In less than six months, the brand has established a robust presence and garnered a global following, now serving happy customers throughout Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and the Asia Pacific region.
Quickly becoming a favourite in the kids’ natural hair care sector, eekoloks® has earned accolades and nominations from leading industry voices, taking home the 2024 WINNER of the NAPPA (National Parenting Product Awards in the United States), as well as winning the Organic Beauty Awards and the Vegan Choice Awards 2024.
